The difference comes down to one thing: whether we change only the software, or the software works together with hardware upgrades.
A remap of your car's standard ECU with no mechanical changes. We optimise boost, fuelling and ignition timing within the safe limits of your factory hardware. It's the easiest, most cost-effective upgrade — noticeably more power and torque, sharper throttle response, and often better fuel economy at cruising speed. Fully reversible: your original file is always saved.
For when bolt-on hardware has been fitted — typically a less restrictive downpipe, a performance air intake, an upgraded intercooler or a freer-flowing exhaust. These parts let the engine breathe better, and the Stage 2 file is written specifically to match them, unlocking gains a software-only map safely can't. More power than Stage 1, with the calibration tuned around exactly what's fitted to your car.

We read and write Bosch, Continental, Siemens/VDO, Delphi, Denso, Marelli, Kefico, Transtron and Trionic control units — via OBD, bench or boot mode — using professional master tools with full checksum correction. Cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks, buses, agricultural and construction machinery. If it has an ECU, we can tune it.
